Since my ex-wife broke up with her partner last winter, then started a new relationship right away, moving in with someone she met online, I was finally able to really close the door on the old hopes I had held for so long. The background of that was I had lived for 5 years without really committing to buying a house - ie, putting my roots down. Well, a new job opportunity came along - my old job was very flexible, I worked from home and was highly paid. But I was kind of drifting further from the type of work that I really love and take pride in. So I found a new opportunity that really fits, and with a great company that is moving wholeheartedly into the technology that I am really good at. I started 2 weeks ago - it's less pay, and now I have to be in the office 8 hours a day, and have had pretty difficult commutes. But the work seems like a really good fit, and I anticipate good opportunities over the next couple of years if I do a good job. My first question - did I read this situation right? In other words, there is some pain and difficulty in going to the new job, but I think it was a good choice, although I gave up a gilded cage, so to speak. Secondly, I started looking to put my roots down and buy a house nearer to the work location. I've found a great little house on a lake, and am ready to make an offer - I am fantasizing about how wonderful an experience this will be for my son, Daniel, who is now 7. Plus it's out in the country, although he'll be further away from my mother and how my ex-wife will react is a real wild card. How do you read this decision - is it as special as it seems, and will we all be able to adjust to a permanent home for Daniel and myself if I do end up buying this house? My greatest anxiety is how all this is affecting Daniel, so if you can keep him in sight while you look at this, I'd appreciate it.
Hello, David. This is Lisa writing you, and it is such a great pleasure to connect with your energy once again! I must truly thank you for allowing me this great opportunity to get to connect with your spirit guides and energy so that I can complete this reading for you today.
In completing your reading for you David, besides tuning in to your own divine energy I shall be consulting with my spirit guides as well as your own, and I will also use the Golden Tarot (intuitively) in order to answer your questions with the most clarity and accuracy as possible.
First David I will address your questions concerning your new career path. I am actually receiving a few messages here – but the thing is they are somewhat contradictory in nature. I am sure we will figure out why this is momentarily … I shall just convey the messages first.
The first message here, and I am hearing it quite loudly my dear is that of “the hardest of roads traveled are oftentimes the most rewarding.” That is the very first message to come through, David. However, the second message that I am hearing – which I must completely admit to you honey it is just as strong and loud, is that apparently you may be reading the situation only HALF correctly. To be more specific, it seems that while yes right now the company does in fact seem to be showing some signs to you that there is room for advancement and growth. That does definitely seem to be the case … but this is in terms of the present. From what I am gathering from spirit here my dear is that this could very well change within another two year’s time. I am feeling a shift and/or change in energy surrounding the company around the two year mark – I am not completely sure exactly what this shift or change is specifically. However, the energy of it feels to be something along the lines of either the company changing hands – in other words being sold to a new owner(s) – or quite possibly some sort of merger between that company and another … which will “absorb” that company as it feels to be somewhat smaller in comparison, OR, and this other option I am not liking as much as the other David, it could be that the company itself decides to close down. Like I mentioned a few moments ago sweetheart please realize that I am not entirely sure exactly which future option will actually occur. I cannot clearly distinguish the energy between the options (as they are in fact so very similar). But the main similarity that is indeed felt here – no matter what option it may be – you may find David that during that time you will feel that your position in that company may either be in jeopardy or may change to something that you may not completely like. This could mean a pay cut or more/fewer hours or more responsibilities or something to that effect. It could indeed likewise mean a lay-off (however once again I state very firmly my dear that I am not absolutely sure on that last scenario – it is just a possibility that fits with the energy). At any rate my dear, in time there seems to be some sort of negative influence and/or change within that company that could most certainly make you re-think your own strategy, motivations, goals and ultimate career path.
Now I have to go back to the first message received – about how the hardest of roads … when traveled they seem to be the most rewarding in the end. I believe that this message is more on a spiritual level rather than that of the physical. In other words, I feel that you will be feeling extremely fulfilled spiritually and emotionally – as the position is indeed allowing you to nurture your natural talents and abilities. It is a very rewarding “road” in respect to obtaining your SPIRITUAL goals. But when it comes to the more physical or material … well … are you starting to see how the messages? While they are rather contradictory to one another at the same time they are starting to make sense all at the same time. It’s like you have to find some sort of balance there … and take the good with the bad if this is a path that you truly wish to take career-wise.
To put it bluntly, if you want to feel fulfilled on the spiritual sense (as you yourself actually somewhat stated within your reading request), then unfortunately you will have to make a few “sacrifices” along the way.
On the flip side to this coin here though, I am being told to tell you now David that this is indeed divinely meant to happen. I am being told to tell you that you should try to stay on this current path for as long as possible … for it will give you the tools and experience that you are needing in order to prepare yourself … for there seems to be an opportunity coming in the next few years where you will begin to think about working for yourself somehow … and somehow utilizing those experiences, skills and hands-on know-how to your benefit. The best way for me to describe this concept David … well apparently you are in that company for learning purposes – and you will be taking that additional knowledge with you later on – to use and actually expand upon – for your own benefit and company.
Now in respect to the new property that you’ve been considering purchasing. LOL!!!! David I am going to be 100% completely open and honest with you right now. I have never mentioned this to you all these years … mainly I guess because I never thought that it was all that important. But now I see that it is. David, every single reading that I have EVER done for you … every time you mention having Daniel at the house, working from home, anything to do with home or sometimes not even so…. I HAVE ALWAYS ENVISIONED YOU AS LIVING IN FRONT OF A LAKE! I am very serious when I say this to you David. When I read your reading intake form and you mentioned that you were looking at buying a property near a lake – I swear my jaw dropped to the floor. Thing is, I have all this darn time seen you as living by that lake!
David, even though I have seen you by that lake all these years, I didn’t really put too much thought into it (up until this point I have to admit that I was believing that it was just ME and how I was trying to connect to you … that it was ME that put you in that place). I seriously wish I could send you a drawing of what I myself have been seeing all this time … just for fun to see if it matches. However I’m not too good of a drawer either – very 1-dimensional LOL! But from what I have been seeing all these years – I see a driveway that is a semi-circle going in the front of the house, but has a path leading off from it on the left side of the house. The lake is right behind the house – there is a bit of a hill leading down into the backyard from the driveway and side path. Trees all around. Wood deck. I pick up a lot of stone work as well … stones laying around for landscaping but also something to do with the house itself. At the bottom of this hill, still on the left side of the house but behind it, there is a small shed-like building – of which I seem to picture you at quite a bit – as if always busy with yard work, etc. And I don’t know where the heck this fits in, if anywhere, but I have often seen Heather walk down that hill towards you – not very happy – definitely up to something. But I have almost always always seen Daniel by your side there … as happy as can be – and very peaceful energy-wise.
So with that being blurted out (and still I am left just in awe and surprise), David I cannot stress this enough: GO FOR IT!!!! Obviously you have been meant to live by the lake and in the country for all these years. Not only will you be immediately well-adjusted … both you and Daniel … but you will also feel so much more at peace within yourself – self-satisfaction, self-fulfillment on both spiritual and emotional levels. The energy surrounding the property is extremely uplifting, peaceful and nurturing … a very supportive atmosphere for a person who is trying to find balance in life and trying to likewise further travel along all of their different paths (career, spiritual, relationship, emotional, material, etc) with success and positive change.
In closing David, I have to say here that I think this home would be an excellent (and obviously divinely meant) move for BOTH you and Daniel. I wouldn’t worry about Daniel at all. He is going to absolutely love that house, David. The only slight worry I have in respect to Daniel is in fact how he will handle your working away from home. He is not used to it and it will take him a bit of time. Realize that he has always had Daddy at home with him – so it is a major shift for the little man. However, I see him really getting into school and loving what he does there, and likewise I see him to always be quite the little busy body around the house outside (at the new house that is). He loves to explore and loves nature – I would actually keep a close eye on him for a few months because there is potential for him to walk off on a nature walk and not tell you. Make sure you strictly and firmly tell him that he is NOT to go wandering off on his own. Daniel is a really good boy and generally always listens to what he is told. But children will be children – sometimes their curiosity and love for nature gets the better of them and off they go. School combined with his interest in the outdoors will definitely help to alleviate a lot of the initial stress of the work change for him though. It is a transition for him no doubt. But it will be one that once again he will get through with relative ease and in his own usual happy go lucky manner.
As a quick side note about Heather’s response to your purchase of the home. Firstly, expect some jealousy to arise within her. As a result of that jealousy, be prepared for her to quite possibly make some “advances” on you (yes – I am talking about her trying to rekindle a relationship). I do advise against moving forward with this … because unfortunately I do not feel that Heather is ready for anything yet anyways. She seems to still be “playing around” rather foolhardily. Besides this, within the next few months sweetheart I am seeing you as finally meeting that special someone (realize that once we are on the paths to betterment and fulfillment spiritually and emotionally – in your case career path as well as the home and taking care of your own desires finally – we actually make room for even more goodness and long-time desires – especially relationships). The other thing I need to forewarn you about with Heather is to be prepared for her to say such things as “Don’t let Daniel near that water!” “You better be watching him.” Statements of that sort … coming across as being that of an over-protective mother. There is some of that in her yes … but unfortunately I feel that these statements are more coming from her jealousy that she will feel. Unfortunately Heather has always been like that – when she hurts she likes to hurt everyone else around her so that they too can suffer … even if it is her own son. Other than those two main concerns, David I am not really picking up on much else in respect to Heather.
