(A real photo of Lisa and Yvon on their wedding day)
Lisa holds very strong emotions for the wonderful causes of the Heart and Stroke Foundation, SPCA, and the Canadian Cancer Society, and she also actively rallies and tries to support the fights against animal cruelty and abuse, stopping horse slaughter, and stopping and creating awareness for violence against women and children. She tries to support each charitable foundation and cause as much as possible, as each one actually touches her heart immensely and they have, one way or another, entered into her personal life. Lisa feels, that through her work as a professional spiritual advisor and counselor, she could perhaps help these organizations more.
Here is a little background as to why Lisa feels so strongly about each charitable organization:
On August 31, 1997, Lisa's grandfather passed away from a 25 year struggle of living in a nursing home following a stroke. To take things further, Lisa's beloved grandmother passed away suddenly on April 3, 2000 - also from a severe stroke. The passing of BOTH her grandparents - both having suffered strokes, really hit Lisa hard and to this day she misses them dearly. Since her grandmother's passing she has faithfully donated each year to the Heart and Stroke Foundation in their memory - on each anniversary of their deaths.
On December 24, 2003 (Christmas Eve), Lisa's father passed away very quickly from advanced stage/metastasized lung cancer (spread up his esophagus, to his stomach and other lung). He progressed extremely rapidly - was diagnosed in August of that year - only living for a total of 4 months. There is a long line of history in respect to cancer diagnoses on Lisa' father's side of the family; as 3 of Lisa's uncles and 4 of her aunts too passed away from different forms of cancer. Lisa's father-in-law passed away from prostate cancer (which spread to his bladder) when her husband was only 16 years old, leaving her husband without a father ... and ultimately having to get tested yearly as he is predetermined as possibly having this as well in later years.
What hits home even more for Lisa is the fact that she herself was diagnosed with cancer in 2009. After having undergone extreme surgery to remove the cancer and all possible areas where it could potentially spread, she is happy to report that for now she is considered as being cancer-free. But as most cancer survivors will attest to, the fear and worry will always be there in heart and mind.
It was these personal experiences, especially her own battle against cancer, that has really given Lisa a renewed sense of being and purpose. Not only does she value all that she has so much more, but she also wishes to do more than what she has in the past. As a global community we need to fight for answers. We need to find a cure - we need to help. There are women, children, and entire families that need our love, protection and help. There are animals dying from starvation and abusive treatment every day - horses being slaughtered for dog food all because they are "untrainable" or "beyond their years in age." Everyone deserves life ... a good life. But many need help to get there. The charities, shelters and research teams can only do so much with the funding that they do receive - however - the way Lisa looks at is is that every little bit helps and counts. It will just bring us one small step closer to finding those answers and cures. One small step forward is better than nothing at all.
After all expenses have been paid for the upkeep and general operation of the Soul Psychics website, Lisa will divide up any surplus that may be seen and will personally donate to charity and the end of each year. Lisa Caza does not really personally gain financially from her psychic readings and services here on the Soul Psychics website - as this work does not provide that type of personal abundance. As Lisa has stated herself:
"The material/financial just doesn't mix with the spiritual when one is trying to personally gain from it. It just doesn't work - nor is it supposed to. The material is mundane in the eyes of Creator - and I consider my abilities as a true gift from that very same Creator. Therefore, how can I 'sell' a gift that was actually meant to help others who are in TRUE need? I can't. But I can't support the cost of being available either. So, we make compromises & a little sacrifice both Creator and I - where ultimately we have come to a mutual understanding and goal ... and this is how Soul Psychics was born and is thus operated."
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for helping us the way you did. You have a heart of gold and I will never ever ever forget what you did for me and my kids. Thanks to you and the help of the Salvation Army and the community we actually have so much more than what we could have imagined. My kids and I are still healing, but I think that now with all the support that weve seen the past few months it has given me a ray of hope and a knowing that all WILL be ok. Thank you so much again and again. And as soon as you get your ranch up and running you can bet on me and my kids visiting often. I will never forget what you have done and you will hold a special place in my heart forever. Take care and let me know how the ranch business is coming along. I hope you succeed you deserve it! Keep in touch! *K*
